Emergency phones are connected directly to campus police and are located throughout the campus.

Beige phones are for inter-campus-only dialing.

* Tyler Dean and Administration offices, Advising Suite, and Registration Offices are located on the second floor of the Tyler Art building.

* Tyler Admissions, Continuing Education, and Exhibitions Offices are located on the first floor of the Tyler Art building.

* Tyler Student Life is in the Exhibitions Office Suite behind Admissions.  You must enter through Temple Contemporary.  If the door is locked, you can call on the beige phone next to Admissions, and if we’re here we’ll come out and let you in.

* Stella Elkins Tyler Galleries are located on the Lower Level of the Tyler Art building. Contact the Exhibitions Office for reservations.


The Artist Palette café is on the first floor of the Tyler Art building and is open during the fall and spring semesters 8 am – 6 p.m.

ID cards
Generally, freshmen receive their OWLcard as part of their Orientation visit. Graduate and transfer students can visit the Diamond Dollars / OWLcard Office to obtain their OWLcard. We are located at 1910 Liacouras Walk, Suite 202 and are open M-F from 8:30-5:00. You will need your TUid# (9 digits beginning with a 9), and a government issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, military ID, etc.).  Your first card is free.  If it is lost it will be replaced for a $20.00 fee. ID cards are issued on Main campus at Diamond Dollars Office, 1910 Liacouras Walk, Rm 202. New and Replacement IDs are issued only to currently enrolled students. Replacements are printed upon presentation of a paid receipt. Previously lost cards cannot be reactivated once a new card has been printed. NEW! If you are a registered voter in Pennsylvania, your Owlcard can be used as a voter identification card in order to vote.

Snow Closing/Weather Policy

In case of severely adverse conditions, the University will broadcast cancellation of classes on KYW radio using the following codes:
101 Daytime classes at Main, Center City, and HSC
426 Daytime classes at Ambler
2101 Afternoon/Evening classes at Main, Center City, and HSC
2426 Evening classes at Ambler
