If you are planning to order a cap and gown for Temple’s graduation ceremony, here’s some information that you may find useful. According to Vicky in Merchandising at the Barnes and Noble store, the bookstore is encouraging graduates to order through their website as soon as possible. If you have the order shipped to the store, shipping is free. The graduation cap and gown is black. The color of the hood and tassel depends on your degree. For Masters degrees, the colors are the same, but the gown has a different type of sleeve and a longer hood.
Temple’s ceremony at The Liacouras Center starts at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 14. You must order your tickets online at http://www.temple.edu/commencement no later than March 31st if you plan to attend.
Tyler’s ceremony is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at the New Tyler Building. Graduates will line up in the first floor area outside of the glass studios at 1:00 p.m. Attendees who are driving should park in Lot 10 (12th and Diamond Streets); parking cost is $12, and the parking attendants will definitely appreciate if you have the exact change.
